Sittin’ Pretti Mutts and Livestock Co. is a small-town grooming salon located in Colton, Oregon where every pet is treated like family. With over eight years of grooming experience, I provide one-on-one care so each pet receives my full attention from start to finish. I believe every pet deserves a grooming experience that is safe, comfortable, and tailored to their individual needs. I take pride in my quality work and creating a calm environment where pets can feel at ease.
As your pet stylist, clear communication is important to me and my goal is for both you and your pet to feel confident and cared for every step of the way.
Backstory
My journey into grooming began with a love for both hairstyling and animals. As a young adult, I dreamed of becoming a hairdresser, but I always felt drawn to working with animals. In 2014, I had the opportunity to assist a groomer at a veterinary clinic, and seeing her combine creativity with animal care inspired me to pursue grooming. Over the years, I gained experience by grooming for friends and family, working in salons as a bather, and learning everything I could.
In 2018, I took the next big step by attending grooming school under Linda Easton, owner of the International Pet Grooming Association, and Jenni Tipton.
As their first student, I learned the importance of safety and technique. After completing school, I worked in a salon for a few years and decided it was time I followed my dream of owning my own business and opened Sittin’ Pretti Mutts. After navigating the challenges of opening just before COVID-19, I was able to rebuild and grow an amazing community of clients.
In 2026, a planned move led me to close my business, but when those plans changed, it opened the door to something even better. We decided to plant our roots here on our little patch of heaven. I’m thrilled to be reopening my business and expanding my services to include livestock care, combining my years of experience and passion for animals.
